ParaView is the open-source, multi-platform data analysis and visualization application that we recommend. It enable the user to quickly build visualizations to analyze data using qualitative and quantitative techniques. It is a very good tool to analyze extremely large datasets using distributed memory computing resources and can be run on supercomputers as well as on laptops for smaller data.

Installing:

Windows: go to [[http://www.paraview.org/download/|http://www.paraview.org/download/]] and download the version compatible to your operational system.

Linux: you can install directly from your repository typing:

However some new versions of operational systems can present some compatibility problems, so that in this case we suggest you to download the binary file from [[http://www.paraview.org/download/|http://www.paraview.org/download/]].
